So what does it mean? Well it means many different things…

For people suffering in silence, this is your opportunity to reach out and ask for help. There is always someone who is ready to listen and out here to help you. So don’t be scared and reach out to the people around you.

If you are scared to reach out to them. Then there are services you can reach out to:

  • Samaritans – 116 123
  • Childline – 0800 1111
  • CALM (for Men) – 0800 58 58 58
  • PAPYRUS (Under 35) – 0800 068 41 41
  • Edinburgh Crisis Centre – 0808 801 0414

Help is never too far!

If you know someone who is suffering, then reach out to them make them realise they are not alone.

Mental health issues are on the rise and together we can help each other. Even if you can’t be the support they need, you can help out by being nice to the people around you.

Everyday just be nice to the people around you and make an effort, you will make a huge difference to their day and you will feel great too.

  1. such an important message to share. I would definitely have benefited from reading this post at a younger age to help understand everything that was going on in my head. I made a post about #HelloYellow and my own experiences, I would appreciate it a lot if you could give it a read? xx thanks again
